For more than twenty-five years Creative Search Consultants has played an integral role in the advertising community, bringing elite creative talent together with the world’s most renowned agencies and boutiques.
However, our higher purpose involves much more than simply placing talent with an agency. We believe in getting to know our clients and the talent we represent, developing a deep understanding of their unique needs and in the process creating a positive and sustainable partnership.
As a team of experienced advertising professionals that have worked across a variety of disciplines, our team brings a vast knowledge of the business into every relationship we create.
Our process begins with honest dialogue and the meaningful investment we make to understand every facet of our client’s needs and the ambitions of those we represent. We believe approachability, collaboration, transparency and integrity set the foundation for enduring relationships. And ultimately, this is what we seek to create: a partnership where we can listen, advise, educate.
After an extensive career as a marketing director for several high-profile companies, Ashley brought her expertise to the family business. It has been over decade now that she has run the Los Angeles office.
No one multi-tasks like Ashley. This is particularly useful since she is both a workaholic and exercise fanatic. Translation: she is often helping her clients and candidates reach their professional goals at all hours of the day and night while somehow holding a perfect Cobra Pose.
Ashley's husband is over a foot taller than her.
Lisa's extensive advertising career has spanned more than ten years and brought her to four continents where she has worked as a Creative Manager at agencies big and small. Lisa has worked on a wide variety of global brands at places such as TBWA Hunt Lascaris in Cape Town, TBWA/Tequila Singapore and Arnold Worldwide, Boston.
As a proud South African, Lisa believes the accents used by the bad guys in Lethal Weapon 2 sounded “dof.”
Lisa decides what the office will order for lunch every day before anyone is done with breakfast.
Amanda has worked in a variety of professional arenas since graduating college with a degree in Business Administration eight years ago. Primarily her focus has been in education where she has worked as a Montessori teacher, designed educational materials and trained staff on curriculum and organizational protocol.
My dog is no longer with us and makes me a bit sad. Sorry to go emotional on you :) Things about me... from Texas... former pre school teacher... I will go to great lengths to find decent bbq in LA.
Steven has had a successful and varied career spanning four decades. He began as a music and television producer and started his own award-winning production company; handling major projects for ABC and the Golden Globes. In 2001 he started Creative Search Consultants with his daughter Ashley. Today he helps set the vision for CSC while also being involved in a number of humanitarian efforts.
Despite being the founder of Creative Search Consultants, Steven is never shy about helping out however he's needed. He has been known to wear the hat of life coach around the office and will also handle the unfortunate duties of janitorial engineer (if it's an emergency).
He sang lead in the (mildly) iconic 60's band “The Cornells” and still enjoys belting it out in the shower.
Brenda has enjoyed a long and successful career in all things finance. She has worked as everything from an assistant and a bookkeeper to a financial analyst for a variety of prestigious companies where she has been directly responsible for day to day operations of multi-million dollar accounts.
Brenda is one of few people that loves weightlifting, yet also admits to enjoying whistling.
She can touch her tongue to her nose. And unlike YOU, she doesn't need the help of her hands.
Stand up comedy.
life in LA:
Living it w my husband and min pin, biggie smalls.
The biggest packers fan, games give me very real anxiety.
role in company:
Baking pie, or baking in general. Lemon bars and strawberry rhubarb pies are definitely my specialties. Cooking. Photography. Frankly, anything art related. Travel (Tulum is my version of heaven). Running my rescue puppy, Paloma, on the beach. Wardrobe consulting for friends.
life in LA:
Very, very chill and more space(!). And sunshine. Total 180 from New York. Centered around my friends and my dog and being outside as much as possible. Dance-offs at friend's houses. Daily sunset dog run at the beach with a great group of dogs (and people), even if it rains, which makes my little pupper so happy. Now that I have a kitchen I can use, as opposed to an entryway crammed with a tiny stove and scrawny fridge, I try out new recipes as often as possible, but at a minimum, I'm always making something. I'm also constantly looking at different ways to zhuzh up my apt.
I am famous among a group of friends for my karaoke rendition of "Rapture" by Blondie. I also played cello for nearly 8 years, took private lessons, and went to music camp (super nerdy) through high school. 20 years ago, I traveled solo for 2.5 months through major Western European urban art centers, and have subsequently been traveling solo for most of my adult life. Even as I get older, while I love exploring places with friends, I find traveling alone so gratifying, because it allows you to immerse in another culture and see it through unobstructed eyes.
role in company:
Snack hoarder. New gal from 18 years on the agency side trying to recruit my face off.
